Anchor QEA, an environmental science and engineering consulting firm, is seeking a full-time MID/SENIOR-LEVEL ENGINEER for its Houston, TX office.
The engineer will manage small to large multidisciplinary projects, clients, staff and sub-consultants; and also play key roles on a variety of projects. This position will develop and manage scopes, schedule, and budgets and be responsible for business development and growing client relationships. The successful candidate will have 10 to 20 years experience on environmental waterfront projects. Candidates for the position should have a M.S. degree in coastal, geotechnical, environmental, civil, hydraulic, or related engineering field. Responsibilities for the positions include: project management, field studies, modeling, engineering analysis, report preparation, client interaction, construction document preparation, and construction oversight. P.E. registration, understanding and experience with contaminated sediments, river, and estuary restoration, dredging and disposal projects, ports and port development, as well as a familiarity with aquatic-based regulations and permits is required. Strong written and verbal communications skills are a must.
