Junior-Level Engineer

Anchor QEA, an environmental science and engineering consulting firm, is seeking a full-time JUNIOR-LEVEL ENGINEER for its Ocean Springs, MS or Houston, TX office.

The engineer will have 0 to 4 years experience on environmental and or waterfront projects.  Candidates for the position should have a M.S. degree in coastal, geotechnical, environmental, civil, hydraulic, or related engineering field.  Responsibilities for the positions include:  field studies, modeling, engineering analysis, report preparation, client interaction, construction document preparation, and construction oversight.  EIT certification, understanding and experience with contaminated sediments, river, and estuary restoration, dredging and disposal projects, CAD, as well as a familiarity with aquatic-based regulations and permits and port development is required.  Strong written and verbal communications skills are a must.
