Mid-Level Engineer

Anchor QEA, an environmental science and engineering consulting firm, is seeking a full-time MID-LEVEL ENGINEER for its Southern California office.

The ideal engineering candidate will have 5 to 10 years experience on environmental and or waterfront projects involving cleanup, development, or both.  Candidates for the position should have a M.S. degree in coastal, geotechnical, environmental, civil, hydraulic, or related engineering field.  Responsibilities for the positions include:  assistance with planning and carrying out field studies, technical analysis and modeling, engineering calculations and evaluation, report preparation, client interaction, preparation of construction document (plans and specifications), and construction oversight.  The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate experience in some or many of the following areas: contaminated sediments, habitat restoration, dredging and disposal projects, Port development, construction management, and aquatic-based regulations and permits. Candidate should either be a licensed Professional Engineer in the State of California, or be able to obtain P.E.-CA certification within a year’s time. Strong written and verbal communications skills are a must.
