Anchor QEA manages planning, engineering design, sediment sampling and analysis, and permitting issues for the City of Long Beach under a broad master services agreement.  Typical tasks include planning, permitting, designing, and conducting sediment sampling and analysis for routine maintenance dredging of recreational and commercial harbors; negotiating state and federal permits for various city projects; and construction monitoring.  Anchor QEA is currently assisting with the permitting of the refurbishment of the Alamitos Bay Marina, which includes replacing almost 2,000 floats, and maintenance dredging over a 7-year period, as well as numerous maintenance dredging events.
