Anchor QEA is the construction manager for the Irvine Company’s Balboa Marina refurbishment project, which involves maintenance dredging, installation of earth anchors in the existing seawall, construction of an eelgrass mitigation area, and complete removal and reconstruction of the marina infrastructure including new floats and piles.  Anchor QEA assisted the Irvine Company with key aspects of the Balboa Marina including permits, preparation of environmental documents, Endangered Species Act (ESA) and Essential Fish Habitat (EFH) issues, eelgrass, and geotechnical concerns.  As the construction manager, Anchor QEA has implemented a comprehensive noise, structural, and vibration monitoring plan during construction, and provided water quality monitoring.  Anchor QEA is responsible for providing comprehensive, full-time construction support to The Irvine Company, which includes contract administration, environmental compliance, implementation of all necessary field monitoring activities, and data management.
