Anchor QEA functioned as program manager for the renovation of the Silver Gate Yacht Club on Shelter Island, in San Diego, California. The project involved planning, permitting, dredging design, and construction management associated with reconstruction of the facilities at the Club. The project involved coordination with USACE, the Port of San Diego, National Oceanographic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS), USEPA, and the San Diego Water Quality Control Board for purposes of obtaining necessary permits (the project was subject to the Port’s approved Coastal Master Plan). Dredging involved removal of approximately 4200 cubic yards of material, with construction phased to coincide with removal and replacement of docks with the minimum disruption to tenants.
